I Got It
Got a call from Taylor's an hour ago. Results for the 2006 National Scholarship are out. I got it. Well, at least I got HALF of what I wanted. Taylor's Business School. 50% scholarship for 4 years, foundation plus degree. A tinnie-winnie bit dissapointed. I wanted the full scholarship but what the heck. Not many people got it. Last year only 3 students from the entire country got a full scholarship. Haiz. But am still wondering if I can get a better offer with my actual but according to Tan and Tiok, I should accept it first. Haiz. I'll have to get to Taylor's Business School tomorrow to check it out. I still have not rejected the offer from MAHSA. Full scholarship for A-Levels. I still have another week to think about it. Parents seem to like Taylor's a lot though.
Pros
1. 50% scholarship. That's about RM35000.
2. No bonds or whatsoever tied to it.
3. No need to worry about my foundation's results because I won't have to reapply for scholarship for my degree. Unless I fail, of course.
4. Franchise programme. I get a UK/Aussie certificate.
5. Might be able to get an attachment with Campbell or DHL. Won't have to worry about looking for a job.
6. Can double major.
Cons
1. College starts in 2 weeks and I'm not ready!!!
2. If I want to get my honour I'll have to study in Canada/Australia for one year.
3. It's just 50%. I might be able to get a better offer.
4. Subang. Jam. :(
5. ...
6. ...
Will think of more. :p
